every political vehicle turns into a frat house, a boys' club. and if there are no women around, women or women-of-women are made. what the mail drop reveals isn't that the bourgeois are exceptionally inhuman, it's that what these people have done is what misogynists do or yearn to at all scales

Misogyny and ethnocentrism and Nationalism and the promise of power over the Lessers are the wages that young men are promised in lieu of actual wages---domain over a Household and Family seen as more valuable than a more-equitable social contract for more people.
