Interesting back-peddle from Kavanaugh who so cavalierly suggested in his prior ruling that racial profiling was ok for ICE, even though it could (does) mean many US citizens are unfairly arrested. Maybe it was calling them #kavanaughstops that finally helped him see how unconstitutional that is?
Kavanaugh goes out of his way to pen a footnote not having to deal with the case at hand.
He appears to be trying to narrow the forces he unleashed with his prior opinion allowing for race- and ethnicity-based #KavanaughStops
