CEO: I deserve this compensation! I’m a job creator!
Truth: Just the opposite. Wealthy CEO’s don’t create jobs - the economy creates jobs, and it creates MORE jobs when MORE people have more money, not fewer people. More jobs would be created by paying you less and your workers more!

Yep. He’s doing the thing the system incentivizes him to do.
The central distortion of the shareholder economy is that profit is no longer seen as an outcome of developing a product — now profit IS the product, and everything else subjugated to it. #econsky

Agreed @ronfilipkowski.bsky.social !
Ironically as Trump claims he’s not a king, it’s most of the media and commentary class who are treating him as one by repeating each of his idiot decrees as if it’s suddenly law. Eg. “Trump announces 10% increase in Canada tariffs”. He can announce all he wants, it is NOT legitimate law. #nokings

Somehow creating a quality product that doesn’t crash doesn’t “create shareholder value” but stuffing halfbaked AI into everything does?

What a bunch of weenie dorks. They have no self-awareness of how pathetic they look.
The biggest achievement of this administration is somehow assembling all of America’s smallest men.
