Created a simple photoshop image for a internal State of Play thing tomorrow, thought it turned out pretty fun.

Bonus points if you know what movie the watch was in.

Awwe, it always warms my cold heart when DEFCON gets mentioned. No matter how small my contribution was to it, its still nice to be part of the Introversion Software's legacy.

People are certainly expressing their opinion with their wallets. I hope this keeps up.

UI is a lot about consistency, style and what to emphasise to the player. The bigger/more centered the more important it normally should be.

So here are some things that stood out to me, that you can think about. Hope its of some help.

When you win in Wildfrost for the first time and make things much worse for yourself. I put soooo many charms on Leerow.

Did a quick test run of Joyride survival of the fastest, so I could get ready to introduce people at work to it.

Normally its 2-4 players, but tested it on a track with 6 cars. Think it worked out reasonably well given this is on the smaller board.

Two of the images I did for The Splitter elusive target in Hitman 3. Trying to make him look as menacing as possible.

Lunchtime game of Robot Quest Arena. A fun simple deck building brawling game by Wise Wizard Games.

Everyone seemed eager to try it out again another time.

Tokyo Highway Rainbow City is such a joy to play.

Chaos of roads, drama, unstable construction and a player decided the best way to make a column was t drop pieces one by one... it did not end well.

Four games I’ve worked on
November 18, 2024 at 8:37 PM
All images are created with the in game models, custom lights and a bit of photoshop. Lost count how many I've done, but its over 2000 at this point.

I also create a internal page with all of them so marketing and people making Hitman presentations could find whatever they might need.

Fun times.

So who should create screenshots for the Hitman UI?
Character art, environment art, UI or our art director?

It ended up on my table creating images for menu's, challenges, elusive targets, intel, suits etc. All major stuff by approved by our art director of course.

Got the Tokyo Highway Rainbow City boardgame in the post yesterday, and tried it out at work today.

Looks spectacular as the road network is built up.
