This morning, I took steps to introduce a resolution condemning Senator Durbin and the other Democrats who voted to strip away Americans’ access to affordable healthcare next year.

Now, I’m on my way to meet with local leaders to demand ICE ends its reign of terror.

As County Commissioner, I’ve banned ICE agents from county property and from wearing masks.

Our community deserves to live without fear. I’ll bring that same commitment to Congress – demanding real oversight over ICE and standing up for our communities.

In our community, we’ve seen families torn apart, loved ones disappeared by masked men, and protestors thrown to the ground.

I won’t stop fighting for compassion, dignity, and justice. In Congress, I’ll fight to end ICE’s reign of terror. No one should live in fear.

I’m running for Congress because we need real leadership – not an administration that is breaking the law at every turn. I hope you’ll join me in the fight.
