I genuinely think art saved me. It allowed the old me who craved death to fulfil this need and be reborn. I started waking up just to be able to draw, and I drew for 8 hours minimum every day. Art allowed me to find meaning in life, to feel complete and hopeful.

I really want to try to do that. I just need to accept the fact that I won’t be able to do it good at first.

You can see how little of the things I like is in my art and that bothered me for a long long time. I always struggled with expressing my true self, being honest, sharing the things that I loved. And not because I was ashamed of it, but because I didn’t know how.
