That's not how the separation of powers works

Ultimately I do think generations do need to start getting longer and longer, especially due to the increasing difficulty of improving raw power at reasonable prices (which even AI improvements would need). In fact I wouldn't be surprised if consoles don't get much better than PS6, period.

Oh yeah. Thankfully I am still able to use the old UI for now but yeah I'm not happy with the direction they're going. I mean I think it looks nice but does seem to be sacrificing functionality that I value, so I hope they hold off on making it official until they bring all features to it.

Criticker I primarily use to review movies, tv and games, and generate recommendations based on that. While I can mark what day I watched something when reviewing, I'm not going there while actively watching it. Writing a comment on trakt is also not usually the same as writing a review on criticker

I would say the main things are that it knows how far I am into a show and how much time is left. This also works for rewatches.

The dashboard suggests which episode to watch next, with custom sorting.

It keeps track of watch time statistics.

It has a calendar of upcoming movies and episodes.

I use trakt and criticker for different things

There is a phenomenal sci-fi series I finished yesterday that only has 3 seaons and a total of 20 25-minute episodes, but that cast still had some time to breathe! The series is called WondLa.

The only thing this button can do is exclude self-reported AI. There's no objective way to detect AI, and any tool that claims to do so will have far more false positives than accurately blocked AI.

Lethal isn't hard enough for ya!?

Apparently they were only unreleased in the US and did air elsewhere

The concept reminded me a little of a cancelled TV show I don't think many people watched called Reverie.

With base to pro PS5, it's different. Weaker upgrade, and base PS5 games already have temporal upscaling, so Pro tends to just be a cleaner resolve with the same level of detail and performance with the exception of the few games that didn't already have temporal upscaling.

The 5 Pro is 3x less of an upgrade over base PS5 than the 4 Pro was over base PS4, and even that wasn't a major upgrade because of the CPU in particular. It was just barely enough to provide a resolution boost only because of temporal upscaling.

PS5 Pro is a bad product that should never have been made. It diminishes the upgrade between generations which is already smaller than it used to be, yet it's barely different than the base model yet priced way higher. It also adds unnecessary extra work for developers.

Good thing I didn't argue then. I was supporting the joke.
