Aspiring author who likes books, history, and nerd stuff. I've a goal to visit all the public art around Salt Lake City. I likely commit too many brain cells toward anti-squirrel schemes directed at the squirrels marauding my tomatoes every summer.
I'd not heard that one before. Thanks for sharing. (I did my part to get the number a little closer to 200k!)

Full disclosure, I'm just a doodler. I use a PC.

I've used Gimp for years--it's open source, but has a learning curve, so I never really felt comfortable in the program, but I've heard it's a close analog to Photoshop.

Lately I've been using Artweaver Free which is slightly more intuitive IMO.

It was nothing at all like I expected! I think I might like it best of the 3.

The one at the bottom is my favorite. They're so happy and so yucky.

3) The effort is the juice! The effort is the high! Mastery of a skill is an unparalleled buzz. "Having written" is nice yes, we all joke about that, but *the making is the pleasure*. Men who've never experienced that, trying to steal it because ironically *they do not know its value*, is a sin.

They should remake Brewster's Millions (1985). (It'd have to be "Brewster's Billions" of course.)

But in the end, Brewster can't possibly spend enough money to get his full inheritance. It'd still be a happily ever after because Brewster is still filthy rich, and why exactly does he need even more?

Trailers made a lot more sense to me when I realized they're the economic equivalent to living in an apartment or a starter home, but for rural areas.

Tiny houses are more like RVs than actual permanent living spaces.

The deductible went up $1500.

The out of pocket max went up $800.

Prescriptions doubled to $30.

But they did add dental care this year! 2 cleanings for $95 each, but nothing else.

There are far worse plans. But I don't make much $. It's tough to scrounge $100 sometimes let alone these increases.

I used to have a pet canary who adored millet as a treat.

I don't know how farmers can grow the stuff without little birds gobbling it all in the fields.
