The hell of it is that it's a both parties problem. I remember the moral hazard of the bank bailouts on 09 and 10 that the government was picking winners and losers and the argument back was "fewer banks are easier to regulate" or something to that effect

Not entirely. Competitive pressures can lower prices without "deflation" the problem is we have lost the political will over the last 40 years to enforce competition in multiple market sectors and anti-trust policy

It depends. If MTG wins out this squabble then he is toast. Congress will reassert control and Massie and/or MTG will be made Speaker by January/February. Senate is more difficult to predict. They didnt Crack on the filibuster but too many of them are complicit in the bribery schemes.
