I had another cheap one before that had a soldering iron+hot air and that was much better. But the next one was super dangerous.

The cheaper hot air stations work pretty well for the cost, but the biggest reason I upgraded to an Atten was safety. The one I had before would randomly switch itself on in its cradle if I had forgotten to switch off the whole unit. I couldnt have that.
