My last post is about the book “The Arrogant Ape”. It’s a non-fiction exploration of the damages made by “human exceptionalism” (i.e. humans thinking they’re the only ones that think and feel).

First post of the year! I read “The Arrogant Ape” during the Holidays and it was such a positive surprise. It’s a philosophy book in its own right. I can’t shut up about it… morebookslesspills.substack.com/p/book-rx-11... #booksky #nonfiction

This week I’m celebrating 10 posts on “More Books. Less Pills!”.

It’s a modest milestone, but it made me grateful for finding a theme, a space, and even a few people interested in the intersection of literature and mental health.

New post! Book Rx #10 - True Nature — The Pilgrimage of Peter Matthiessen - by Lance Richardson

Who imagine that money to travel and freedom to meditate are shortcuts to happiness, Matthiessen’s biography is a manual for reckoning.

We've being overstimulated with endless choices without noticing that the excess of decisions deepens depression and anxiety day by day. “The Paradox of Choice” is a great book to understand what triggers that and how to make your way out this situation. Check it out: bit.ly/rx8-choice-p...

Just reviewed "Algospeak: How Social Media Is Transforming the Future of Language" by @etymology.substack.com.web.brid.gy

It's probably my favorite #nonfiction of 2025, it helped me to think less about "attention deficit" and more about "attention harvesting" 📚💙

Spotted in the wild and added to my wishlist! After reading Naomi Klein's "Doppelganger", I got curious to understand how MAHA followers can get good ideas and transform them into something totally different. Maybe this book helps to understand that.
