I will think about things for my survival and for money IF I MUST, but I couldn’t care less about utility. Thinking about useless shit that I really like is a joy in life. I’m also pretty chill and engaged one-on-one. The broad sweeping social inadequacy comments are putting things too simply.

This is my 4th half marathon, and I'm so grateful that I decided to do this for the first time 4 years ago. I know that this is the limit to what my body is able to do, personally, and it's a challenge every year. And I am not good at it by any means, but I. did. this.

I started running 4 years ago when I was struggling with episodes of clinical weakness (usually neurological or metabolic). I couldn't drive, I could ride my bicycle, but if I collapsed while walking/running, the damage was minimal. So, I ran. I ran to have some semblance of control over my body.

Possibly in the future! I spent the last 2 years making stuff for myself and people around me, but I am getting to a point where I am making stuff just to make stuff!

At least on Nextdoor, I can complain about neighbors, talk to people about cats, and get some free produce...
