YouTube has taught me that a lot of the relationships you build while “Creating” can often feel very transactional. Only relevant when one party wants something from the other.
It’s not bad to start relationships like that, but I definitely don’t want to leave them at that.

There are a LOT of cool people I've gotten to work with thanks to my dumb video job, but i'm always a little bit scared to reach out to them OUTSIDE of a work piece.
Like is it okay to just say hi, hows it going? I'm not good at trying to make friends at work.

You know- all those challenge run videos on youtube fail to showcase the many hours you spend redoing the same sections over and over to try to complete them in dunb ways. Anyways i’m gonna spend 5 hours tomorrow trying to beat the same section of Alan Wake without a flashlight.
