It would also make sense why he wouldnt want to go back to a world where, presumably anyone who knows him could blame him for the incident. At least in the circus he thinks he has control over his reality. It would be the ultimate escape for him

Like, whether his family or his friends were in the car, who knows, but considering he has such intense reactions to the implication that he was the cause of the others abstracting it would. Kinda make sense if its an actual real life trauma for him

Ok theory based on the jax stuff this episode but considering his flashbacks were very specifically based on him driving i almost wonder if like. He was involved an accident in his real life with him as the only survivor

Rewatching rn and i almost forgot why is jax's room so cute..... i would be kinda interested to know if their bedrooms are based on just their character designs or anything further than that. His room does suit his design but i wonder if its representative of something about him as a person?
