TYSM ;; I really hope so too! <3
Trying my best to fix it! At least PC is working rn even if a bit fucky! 💀hahaha
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
I appreciate it! ♥ Tho I already returned the memories, so rn it's a matter of trying to see what will be the next step to fix/improve the current situation.
November 11, 2025 at 3:59 PM
Yes! Which was still causing it to turn off. (theory is not enough energy from the power supply, but apparently someone else also told me other things that could have caused it together)
Rn pc is running (even if slightly slower than prior) with the old RAM.

Ty for the input!
November 11, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Both the old and the new were 3200Mhz o7
November 11, 2025 at 3:22 PM
Rn I can't access the "old one", gimme a hot second on the other.
Tho I will say I did check both for compatibility with my motherboard and CPU and both were ok. 😣

Tysm 😭💜✨
November 11, 2025 at 2:55 PM
That's super fair, I really appreciate it 💜
November 11, 2025 at 2:54 PM
Yeah. I've recently uninstalled a BUNCH of useless crap from windows, prior to the RAM arriving. PC was running pretty good then, not perfect since I do a lot, but pretty good nonetheless.
November 11, 2025 at 2:50 PM
I took the new RAM out and I'm returning it. Rn that speed issue is with the old RAM, which used to run pretty good before all this. 😩

Everything runs smoothly til I open 1 extra thing (especially some games or OBS) 🥀

I also suspected abt the power supply. I might try to invest in one when I can, just in case, for whenever I can afford a full upgrade with all new RAM or something. ♥ Ty for the input tho!
November 11, 2025 at 2:27 PM
Yeah...I kept wondering if i had bought wrong. But NOPE, it was even the same voltage on the shop. And mind you, it was the RAM's OFFICIAL store. 💀
November 11, 2025 at 2:10 PM
Had checked it prior, it is. o7
November 11, 2025 at 2:06 PM
It was supposedly the same memory, I made sure of it, even the same voltage. But it arrived slightly higher, which I thought the pc would compensate for the base 1.2v. Clearly it didn't. But PC is back on atm, just not running as well as before. The upgrade turned into a slight downgrade. :(

Ty everyone for the love and tips. Y'all are amazing. ♥
Hopefully I can slowly get things sorted. But GODS shit been rough lately, and I'm running out of steam. 🥀
November 11, 2025 at 2:02 PM
Also, it was turning on, but turning off suddenly after.
November 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM
Nah, not even close. I was upgrading to 64gb, my CPU handles up to 128gb. The frustrating bit is that I basically bought the exact same brand and type of memory, including voltage. But when it arrived, the voltage was slightly different. I thought it wasn't gonna be a problem, but it might have been
