Soon as I got the script and saw they were referencing the infamous "Delinquent Duo" incident (in which at a real life tournament, a couple guys intentionally brought a 2,222 deck to force Konami to change the YGO deck size limit), I knew I had to (voluntarily) draw this haha ❤️🔥

Does anyone know if this artwork variant of Ra ever received a gold rarity release? I remember obtaining the Obelisk and Slifer variants in gold when all the different Dark Side of Dimensions tie-in cards were going out, but I don't think Ra was part of any set related to that.

So to be able to get the chance to work on a major project featuring the two alongside many talented individuals gets me all the more pumped up!

If you guys are doing binge-throughs of Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh in preparation for the episode, I HIGHLY recommend checking this film out. It is an epilogue to the original manga with the involvement of the series' late, great creator Kazuki Takahashi, and beautifully animated.

This is the KaibaCorp space station from Dark Side of Dimensions. You actually see it in the first minute or so of the film (no, this is not where Kaiba is "training aliens to duel" lol)
