P.S. The short story includes some info about the Pagans-verse version of The Muppets, "a group of unruly wooden puppets who lived on a rickety old cargo ship". There may be a talking grasshopper. Yes, it is as wonderful as it sounds. @jamesbluecat.bsky.social's marvellous brain strikes again!
