tricky thing about Spanish tho is all the diff dialects and regional differences in certain words. like you certainly won't find a Puerto Rican calling a straw a "popote" for example, that's exclusively Mexican for the most part. that's a "sorbeto" to us lol this picture made me mad

one of the chewy customer service reps I was writing emails to called Terry "Sir Terry" and I am so glad I am not the only one that calls him this. He simply has a "Sir" look about him... also it makes him sound like a knight even tho he's just a fat food muncher

grew up with the (unfortunate) censored English dubs of OG Sailor Moon and Cardcaptors once they hit the US on Cartoon Network iirc! it was rare I caught a Cardcaptors episode but I remember Sailor Moon was a daily, early morning anime for me before school, if I recall correctly.
