Napa/Tuscany. Likes good wine, good books, good cats, and good whiskey. Go Niners/Dubs/Giants! Recovering world class ballroom dancer. Would sleep better in these times without that history degree.
My 17 year old is alive because of Solensia. Arthritis in every joint. She’s frail but frisky like a kitten. 🐈‍⬛

My version for about 20 years. Lemon and orange juices, hint of cinnamon, vanilla. Fresh cranberry sauce is great.

Exactly!

We have, however, switched from turkey to brisket by fiat and a threat to hand off hosting to someone else
if whining about the protein choice kept up. The grumbling has ceased—as long as the cranberries are sacrosanct. Clearly turkey is way down the scale, LOL.

Hence the same cranberry sauce for about the last 25 years. I tried a variation and there was rebellion in the ranks.

My aunt turned out rolls for Thanksgiving that had the consistency of hockey pucks. Everyone politely gnawed away without a word until my sister, maybe 9-10 at the time, piped up and said “but they’re such heavy little rolls!” Everyone fell over laughing and we still say that about all rolls.

That makes me happy.

When I was doing competitive ballroom dancing I wore a HR monitor for a comp simulation round and the gist was my heart should have exploded around Viennese Waltz time. Never found a way to train for that damned sport other than by doing it, though cross-training did help. Dance is HARD.
