Front row is still a worry against the top nations - one thing I’d love to see is some new developments in attack (particularly in transition) I’m thinking the Keenan try vs France in 22 and beirne v England in 24? - our forwards interplay has often what sets us apart from other teams

Back 3 very light on greens - I think front 5 tend to have more back ended careers so the picture is slightly different (probably want more yellows than greens?)

Good summary that - would love to see Gleason back from injury and get a good run in 26 - serious physical asset - I’m also interested in Illo we obviously need size and physicality in that front row - we’re caught in the revolving finance door of the 6N - but the nations league may give us options

Our first card was our mistake on their 5M line and overturned a score
That point the game was pretty level
Yup the power game cranked up to cause us big problems but to say we were totally beaten up one sided isn’t right imo (and you know what I’m allowed one)

Beaten up yes - but as we went down to 12 what do you expect - our kick game was better than laid out - SA attack was brainless at time - I’m encouraged with the performance in certain areas - and yes Im ok with having a different opinion- this team has a lot of weak spots but it’s grown in Nov

Encouraging performance to be honest - lots of bollox and some young guys really stepped up - personally think refs now have a view on porter and when it’s tight we lose

2/2 JGP best player on pitch beirne and Crowley top tier - and actually the books were brain dead for long parts of that match - I’m actually more positive after that the Australia game

For once I’ll take some issue with you. We won a lot of collisions and the things “we” wanted to test we did. The scrum was a folding bag and awful (albeit thought steenkampf was boring in all game) but lots of positives - 15vs 15 we were the better rugby side - Ciara P was great Pmccarthy decent

I’d also add in that they are totally failed by the media - reform continue to gain support and I despair of what’s next for theUK

I don’t have a problem with rotating the 10s round - but the commentary about it is baffling - he deserves a go? - it’s weak and does nothing for either player imo - personally I think Crowley is way stronger but SP finishing games could be a brilliant option

Here we go again - if you’re going to chop and change without a decent dialogue don’t expect either player to fill the jersey and blossom - and by the way Byrne has been the best Leinster FH this season and it’s not even close
