And just me, but when I put up that much money for only a few hours entertainment, my expectations go way up and I rarely think any movie is worth what they’re charging now.
This is a larger issue where the upper middle class + are very out of touch with the lower middle and lower classes.

The only way Netflix or anyone can kill theaters if they’re already dying.
Movies have become extremely expensive for a family. Add the concession stand, and it’s a lot more. And after all of that, you have 1.5-3 of time invested for all of that money and no guarantee that you’ll like the movie.
