1/2 WIP Wednesday. I was able to get the highlights done on the Halequin troupe this weekend. Now I just have to finish the bases. I may have used too opaque of paints. I’m leaning and trying new techniques.

According to Wikipedia a country is “an area of land, which has its own government and laws, or used to have them[1], such as a state, a nation, a nation state, or other political entity.” So I think the US, United Kingdom, and the EU qualify.

Yeah, I didn’t believe the guy and had to look it up too. Pretty crazy but not the first time a US military unit has used nazi iconography. I did appreciate the comment from the military official that they’re just dumb though.

2/2 what do you think of the glow effect? Is there anything I can improve. I think I need to push the contrast on the neuro disrupter. I might try a blue wash and another highlight dry brush. How can I improve the decals?

1/2 WIP Wednesday. Base coats on the other two troupe members and the leader done. Also painted up the weapons and put on some decals. It's my first time using decals and trying a glow effect. Still have to highlight.

I've really been getting into mini painting. I had collected a bunch of Eldar over the years but never got to painting them or actually playing a game. It's been a refuge in this crazy world. I've really been enjoying different techniques like underpainting and using nail painting tools like stamps.
