I suspect what she's getting at is that the lines are drawn by nationality not by race (unless you're a literal nazi). James Baldwin made this observation that he was treated as an American but that the Algerians held his equivalent position in France.

I'm in Europe. This guy is way mis-reading the vibe. There is a world in which all the SOFAs are canceled immediately and Europe basically walks away with all of NATOs physical and political infrastructure. I don't think he gets how pissed it will make everyone if the US kidnaps 57000 Europeans.

Fair, but Starr, Gingrich et al. were just not champions of women's rights. Sure, they were more consistent but this only serves to make Starr's close and enduring friendship with Epstein as well as Gingrich's paleoconservative opportunism less surprising.
