My fave* part of this whole saga is that even after YEARS of being on notice to stop lying and sort their shit out, the Department tells the Ombudsman they have an app for that. And when the Ombudsman asks to see the app they say 'actually, no we don't'. www.thesaturdaypaper.com.au/news/politic...

And now Meta is e-mailing me saying that my interactions with their AI (there aren't any) will be used to "personalize [my] experience and ads" which is another great reason to never use those things

I couldn’t remember if I’d ever even input my birthday so I went to look this morning, and it gave me the same message. 🙄
