A huge new NIH-funded clinical trial of 20,000 girls has shown that a single dose of HPV vaccine yields the same response as two doses after 4.5 years. This is critical to public health efforts to save lives with this vaccine.

Yes. We still have to battle RFK Jr. to ensure access to HPV vaccine.

If they proceed with this plan, it will effectively choke whatever life is left out of the health research academic community. To put it bluntly it will kill any possibility of a grant funded career doing health research in the U.S.

Old friend just laid off by USDA, 1 mos short of his probationary period as senior researcher. Brilliant person who left a tenured faculty position several yrs ago to join USDA. Bright early-career researchers also being laid off. USDA is terminating a generation of highly-qualified scientists.
