Well when management evaluate this kind of requests they are also evaluating other costs. Consider copilot subscription, then code metrics, other tools. The pricing adds up for each individual members. So, given DCM is relatively new, it's difficult to convince them add yet another cost.

Are you using Ladybug patch 3? I solved the issue in patch 2.

Also, simplest solution is: Figure out the path of Java binary that is bundled with Android Studio. Add that to your environment path as JAVA_HOME. Problem solved.

Question: What will you do when some feature has dependency on other features?

For example: let's say home tab needs to show user avatar that comes from user tab. As per feature structure, home repo or data source will have dependency on user repo or data source
