I started my day walking by Fritz Haber institute (southwest of Berlin), then passed by Potsdamer Platz (former border) to go to the very Northeast of Berlin.

As you may know, I am quite afraid of heights. Nevertheless, today I walked twice across a 600-meter-long hanging bridge that was up to 60 meters high.

Went to Göttingen today.
Got to see some statues remembering Georg Christoph Lichtenberg - one of the first professors for experimental physics. Some statue remembering a historic telecommunication experiment.
And some other sites including a large building of the University of Göttingen.

Today, I visitited a miniature version of Thuringia. That's the state of Germany that Jena is a part of.
The first building is the Zeiss planetarium in Jena. Then several houses connected to Goethe follow. Finally, one of the many castles in Thuringia is shown. I also made a Wartburg picture.

My very first CECAM workshop in Lausanne is now over! 🤩 Pretty intense week. I did not have a chance to see a lot of Lausanne.
I made a few pictures just now and at the lake close to the university. And of some of our speakers!
