Glitch(he)art

Originally this was inspired by the geometric paintings found all over Talos I in Prey. I just tried to make something similar, but ended up animating it with one of those pulses. My nephew commented "Heart!", so i gave it that double pulse and audio.

I've also got Wirt, Greg, George Washington and Beatrice modelled. Planning to make a small animated scene render or two, just gotta rig all of them and build the actual scene.

Can anyone explain to me what is happening here? In 4.4 neither Shift+X or Shift+Ctrl+X gives me usable colors.
