So yesterday I was in Ravenna Third Place Books, saying hello to “Storybook Ending” (#4 on the bestseller shelf!), and a staffer told me that someone had left a note for me — which is basically the plot of my book. #lifeimitatesart

Hi! Fine wavy/curly hair here, as evidenced in author photo below (taken on a good hair day). Rules: 1) no blow dryer, ever. 2) no brushing or combing when dry (or even wet; I just use my fingers). 3) Curl cream, and not too much (I like Verb).

Amazing and unexpected news today: my novel, “Storybook Ending,” made its debut on the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association bestseller list, coming in at #8 in hardcover fiction! Thank you to all the indie booksellers; I am beyond thrilled and incredibly grateful. ♥️ 📚

Amazing and unexpected news today: my novel, “Storybook Ending,” made its debut on the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association bestseller list, coming in at #8 in hardcover fiction! Thank you to all the indie booksellers; I am beyond thrilled and incredibly grateful. ♥️ 📚

I still don’t quite believe it, but my debut novel, “Storybook Ending,” is out May 27 from Dutton/PRH! It’s a comedy of manners, set in a bookstore. I hope it brings some joy. Thank YOU for many rapt hours spent with your books!

Something exciting arrived in the mail today — advance copies of my book, from my UK publisher @bloomsburybooks.bsky.social. “Storybook Ending” will be released in the UK in June, a week after North American publishing (from Dutton/Penguin Random House). Fun to see the special galley cover! 📚
