Well... someone somewhere at some point in time has to be the first at something I guess.

I do not speak in public much about the industry. I'm head down focused. Things to do, and honestly nobody should listen to anything I have to say, I'm no expert in AR, VR, or XR.

Anybody who tells you they know what they are doing is trying to sell you something.

Talk less, saves time.

I would like to see them doing.

I look for actual output, or work. Or any hint of any thing they are working on. Or even like past projects, or hackathons, or even signs of using XR for leisure in their spare time. Any sign at all that they practice how they play.

...who have all these endorsements, who do all this speaking and talking, who are on all these panels, boards, and podcasts.

They are always talking about XR, and what the industry should be doing, and where it should be focused, where they predict it will go, and what developers should do.

They will burn the entire country to the ground before they let a competitive product take any sort of real foothold against their dominance.

They are all just drug dealers and behave as such. Their drugs just happen to have their names plastered on NASCARs, not hollered out down on the corner.
