In Gaza, when the houses are destroyed,
it's not only the walls that
collape - hearts break too.
The walls that once echoed
with children's laughter now
lie silent beneath the rubble.

We had a farm in Rafah.
We grew vegetables like peppers, tomatoes and eggplants.
Now everything is destroyed.
All we have is dust.
Our beloved land.
