Starting FFXI again after over a decade with the intent to finish the main storylines. I started installing it yesterday and am already partway through the first and toughest boss, PlayOnline.

If I had a nickel for every time this weekend we've visited a college friend for a swim day and was sent home with fresh produce from their parents, I would have two nickels, but it's weird that it happened twice. Thankful for great friends with really cool parents.

Finished South of Midnight. Loved the Creole culture and southern gothic setting. The character writing and voice acting is top notch and I loved the stories told throughout the game. Unfortunately, the ending felt... rushed? But maybe this isn't the end. Hazel's story has a lot of potential left.

Spotted a basilosaurus skeleton in South of Midnight! Basilosaurus is the state fossil of Alabama and has a fascinating story.

@netflix.com's Running Point = Arrested Development + Ted Lasso and I am here for it. Can't wait for season 2! Fantastic cast, witty dialog, and actually getting me interesting in a sport that I didn't really care about. Good stuff.

The Residence on Netflix knocked it out of the park! Uzo Aduba was incredible and each episode had me wanting more. Knives Out meets Agatha Christie, meets Only Murders in the Building, meets Clue. Really really hope there's a season 2!
