Ever see something so unexpectedly beautiful, and think, this can’t possibly be real? This was one of those moments. A Sunday morning drive through the countryside.
I’m pretty sure Andrew Wyeth could have painted Christina’s World on this hilI. I can almost see her pink dress.

All creatures great & small. It turns out, it’s true. Bring it & they shall come. Apples for the sheep, pup cup for the cutest dog, watermelon for the lonely horse. Not allowed for the geese, but they came anyway. No doubt, I got the better end of the deal. Perfect day. Show a pet some love today.

This is where it begins. ORANGE, the color of an early sunrise, leading way to a day of promise and hope.

Shaped and weathered by the power of wind & water, this beautiful perfectly flawed driftwood with its , twists, knots and scars called out to me today. Wrapping myself around it, I felt its raw energy as it whispered secrets untold until now, a gift meant for me.
Flow with it. You will arrive.

Listen to your elders we were told. They weren’t wrong. An 89 yr old spunky retired tree surgeon who started when he was 16, has stories that are fascinating and wisdom to share beyond words. He’s still in one of his shops each morning making beautiful canoes & rockers like this one.

Every now and then surprise yourself. Eat something whose beauty you might not recognize, whose taste you might not know yet, whose texture you might not understand. Be bold. Savor each bite, the feel on your tongue, drink its nectar, revel in the moment. Get primitive with your food.
