I'm a little annoyed that I couldn't get the animation rig to work properly in gamemaker, but as a fallback my tried and true 2D method still works just fine, and I *do* still get a few new tricks I can do since I'm working in a 3D space

Installing and removing parts now involve actually installing and removing the parts!
my original inspiration for this game was combining concepts from Car Mechanic Sim and Drift Girls, and its really starting to feel reflective of both now so I'm quite happy \o/

huge progress - rivals are in! I am SO close to having a vertical slice, it's mostly adding polish and assets from here

I figured out transparent textures so now cars can come in any color you want! I do plan on adding color change to the garage later, but for now its time for the Meetup menu

On top of the normal wear & tear, if you drive poorly parts will degrade faster, and if a part breaks completely mid-race, that run is over
thankfully if you don't have ANY drivable cars, you can run deliveries using a company vehicle to make some cash until you can afford new parts
