Very good. It focuses on latin america, but the biggest erosion of US power will come due to antagonism to Europe.
Post-war security was to keep Europe peaceful, rich & demilitarised.

The only lesson to be learnt is with no veneer of rule of law, there's no point bringing countries into your SoI if the government can be toppled and replaced by a US governor.
