“Talk To Me”: Troubled teens get caught up in a new party game & TikTok trend: getting possessed by ghosts using a weird artifact. This movie was ok, but not great. Some shocking scenes but not hugely original or terrifying, and the drug-abuse metaphor is a little too obvious.

The grease in the air in fast food restaurants is just insane and it’s no wonder Junji Ito did a horror story about it. They should build these places so the walls open up at night so they can air out

Something I have discovered playtesting Dreamland RPG… players can succeed at almost any roll by ‘betting’ enough on it, but I’ve subtly tried to create situations where players might want to intentionally fail some rolls cuz the cost of betting is so high. But players NEVER voluntarily fail rolls 😂

Our 5 year old keeps coming back from kindergarten with insane stories she believes which her friends told her, presumably (1) to enjoy fooling someone, and maybe in some cases (2) convince themselves they WANT to think fairies are real or whatever. This must be the origin of all religion

“Friendship” (2024): I expected a more obvious comedy but like the rogerebert reviewer said, it’s so dry it’s more like a straight male buddies “Fatal Attraction.” It was 50% less depressing than I expected but that’s just my dark imagination going into overdrive, it’s still very depressing
