Also, the vaccination schedule for people our age was only 1 vaccination and nowdays for full immunity you need 2, so even if your immunisations were scrupulously noted down in your Plunket book (thanks, mum!) you're better off topping up.

It really, really is.
Did you know that pounamu has the tensile strength of steel?
I think about that sometimes in low moments. I like to imagine that it's what my spine is made of.

That they're trying so hard to convince us that this ISN'T the overriding sentiment across the nation tells you that it very much is.

It's very transparently the "line of attack" the party has chosen to take. I saw video of Stanford doing her best "I am acting very outraged and disgusted but I am no such thing" about how disgusting it was that schools were being pressured to be added to lists of schools etc.

When my kiddo was little we had a picture book about firefighters that had minimal words. One page was a firefighter with an axe smashing a window with "SMASH!" in bold letters, which I read as "SMASH! the patriarchy".
Believe me when I say a 3 yr old trying to say "patriarchy" is peak cute.

Also. That is not how school boards work. Unions have zero interaction with the Board. There are staff reps on the Board but they're a minority presence.
