This is usually what happens after an election in the USA right? I mean, white house staff all gets the boot with every new president and so do many many other gov. roles that are not necessarily political?

This has always baffled me about US politics, but why is it news now? Did Adams not do this?

This should have been the Publish Epstein’s Dirt On So Many Atrocious Gawkers and Abusers Act

Or the P.E.D.O.S.M.A.G.A Act.

Someone come up with a better one please!

I absolutely HATE there seems to be no valid business model for these sites to support authentic artists. First Etsy completely failed to protect against knock-offs / ali-express. Now with AI it reaches a new bottom.

Is there a better alternative to etsy we can help grow? A sort of bluesky for art?

I think you miscaptioned this. It should be: “ US PRESIDENT COMPLETELY IGNORED UKRAINES SOVEREIGNTY AND PREVIOUS SAFETY GUARANTEES TO SUCK UP TO DICTATOR PUTIN”

Trump is not that popular inside of NY. So there’s that 😆

Abortion is legal in New York.

That’s not so popular in Arkansas.

So, its almost like it matters to know your audience. For Mamdani, he needed to excite those of the city he wanted to be mayor of. And he proved a socialist agenda can win.

It is not outside the realm of possibility that at least some of these accounts are tactics from other governments like Russia to destabilise the US.

So one person you call the poster child for the death penalty. And the other doesn’t matter because that state doesnt give death penalty’s so he cannot possibly be held to the same standard?

I’m just saying, no one seems to be agreeing with shakespeare on this particular word.

We traced my family to half of northern Europe. There is even a distant line to some German (or more correctly Prussian) royalty and from the other side from Irish ground. No one settled in the US though.

Well, you have the internet now ;) And Shakespeare plays are hardly accurate depictions of the times.

Appearently “terrorism” is spelled differently in each state too 😉 I am
just pointing out the vastly different charges brought, one got a charged with A LOT less, regardless of the availability of the death penalty.

That must have been a hard time, figuring out what’s going on and how to adjust. I can see how that syndrome/type would impact chances of survival. But the range of autism is so broad and even now we miss so many kids. Was just wondering at the statement that most would not survive early childhood.
November 22, 2025 at 5:59 PM
I wonder what sources support this? Even now, a vast number of ppl with autism function relatively fine and go undiagnosed…

English is not my native language so I think I picked the wrong word. Cloister then?

That glittering golden atrocity behind Trump is bothering no one? It looks so ostentatious and cheap (probably wasn’t but cant put a price on taste 😆).
November 22, 2025 at 4:16 PM
Didn’t that guy that shot protesters get a free pass and what amounts to a trustfund from the right? Kyle something?

Explain to me why that was not a politically motivated assassination in broad daylight in front of witnesses?

Or she’s spend 5 years building her brand on a financed national platform with free commercials and now needs the freedom to cash in on it.

And this is why science should be left to scientist. People who get the difference between causal relations and correlations. Between different statistical methods, when outliers are interesting and when they can be ignored. How to measure what, how to duplicate, etcetcetc.

This is such elitist bullshit and if this is the best question to pose your ethicist, I think the board should be asking questions to the ethicist.

This is horrific. If you are a Christian or a Jew or a Muslim or pretent at home you are a decent upstanding person, let me help you out of that mirage.

You are not a good person. You are the neighbour everyone hopes will move soon.

And are they ending it for Capitol Hill politicians? Didn’t they get paid throughout the shutdown and recess before that AND keep their healthcare coverage whilst effectively revoking it for tens of millions of citizens?
November 22, 2025 at 12:31 PM
There is actual research on this. Those identifying as conservatives (or republicans or right-leaning, whatever you call it), view the world more from the “I” perspective whilst the other side of the spectrum reasons from a “we”. So yeah, this tracks.

I think this is the type of person they put in monastery’s and nunnery’s 🫣

I mean, set daily rhythm, predictable weeks, little contact and days of silence, meticulously copying books or paintings and some obessive studying of texts…

Putting orthodoxy and scientific together is a contradiction. It will underline for many that science is “just” a belief.

Science does not care for anyones beliefs.

This is like saying it is orthodoxy that humans need oxygen and trees make it from sunlight. That’s not a human belief, that just is.
orthodoxy
1. the generally accepted beliefs of society at a particular time: 2. the…

And for anyone saying “well, women like to sue famous men”, no, no we do not. Just look into past presidents and whom of them has even close to such a record. I mean, Clinton was almost skinned alive for maybe screwing his secretary. He’s dodgy in other ways but thats what we knew then.
