Oh man, you missed the slam of all slams on old Cecil Bell. All hat, no cattle. And the picture to prove it.

I know it’s not a contested Dem primary but coverage of HD 15 would be great because that is the Pool Boy™️ seat and he’s running for Congress because he sees the writing on the wall.

I think that might’ve been the fundraiser I was at 🤣.

Mine too.

As someone who went through this with my mother in the last couple of years, I can verify this. It was triggered when she ran her car into a ditch, saying she was at work and coming home. She didn’t have a job in over 5 years.

Jon and I crossed one year in high school - he and I have a few mutual friends from that time “a couple of years ago” which I found out when the lege went to Chicago and he went to a party with those friends . . ..

Well, it happens. Ask me sometime about getting sued in 2020 as the MoCo County Chair for an offhand comment to a reporter that was completely misinterpreted.

That will make Jon’s primary run easier. It just caught my eye last night when looking at the filings on the RPT website to see if they had any other interesting filings.

Michelle, in the RR Commissioner race, you have Katherine Culbert listed as a D. She filed in the Republican primary.

He can take my ibuprofen out of my cold, dead hands. What does he think ibuprofen is? Does he understand what the acronym NSAID stands for? Oh wait, he doesn’t.

Christian Reconstructionists gained so much influence in part because few Americans know that this movement even exists, let alone what its policy objectives are. By the 1980s the CR movement had penetrated elite US evangelical circles & the elites subsequently pushed its ideas to the masses...

Or Nathan Johnson (that would be another good choice to go after Danny boy. All the way down to the 15th COA 😉

Yes. This is not in dispute, but Senate is the “sexy” race because it will likely be against the odious Paxton (unless the R’s regain their sanity and keep Cornyn). But we need quality all the way down the ballot. Starting with Talarico, Castro, maybe Beto, and even Jaworski or Nelson.

But he can’t carry it on his shoulders alone. He’s gonna need a little help from some (certain) friends. I still really think he needs to run for Governor rather than Senate. He can do a lot more as the Governor of Texas than as the junior Senator from Texas.

The way things are going right now he is going to have a really tough time gerrymandering their way out of this one.

I like the idea of Talarico for Gov, Castro for Senate, and maybe Beto for Lt gov (if he would do it. It isn’t like veep, there is power there). I like Vicki Goodwin, but maybe she is one cycle away?

🤷🏻‍♂️ They haven’t talked to me yet. And I am someone they need to talk to in this district.

Keith Coleman is Running in HD03 (my district) as a Dem. Horses for courses . . .. Cecil is slight to the left of Atilla the Hun despite his issues with the MCRP, who think he is a RINO.

Has anyone in this damn state heard of the 5th and 14th amendments?

I see my least favorite Rep with the Napoleon complex was involved in torching his own agenda. 🤷🏻‍♂️

New vision? I’ve been in healthcare and some shape or form since 1984. I can’t remember a time when waste fraud and use was not a top issue for the Department of Health and Human Services and specifically for CMS and its predecessor, HCFA.
