I agree. And I think that unlearning beliefs so engraved into our minds takes a lot of work, reflection, and education. And people are more willing to put in that work if they feel encouraged to do so, as opposed to feeling attacked for being raised to believe a certain thing. Christianity in (1of2)

And to clarify, I DO think the biases need to be addressed and corrected. This is not a defense, but more of a personal opinion about tactics used to educate someone on a topic. People are more open to admitting they’re wrong when they don’t feel attacked. Usually.
