i “vibe code” (i call it slop code) a lot of stuff because I want to make something complicated instantly, and lazily. and I’d only heavily rely on this method with non-critical applications.

another qualifier in the same sense would be the operator also not understanding how the code generated works at all, it’s just words on a screen to a “vibe coder”.

at the very least, a programmer can see the logic

to me it’s uncritical software that is written entirely by LLMs, and especially in “Agent” environments like Cursor.

the operator of the LLM being likely not knowledgeable enough on how to get their idea from brain to screen — not that that’s a bad thing, that’s why LLMs in Code are so powerful
