and I really am old enough to remember those far-off days before 2011 or so when most people *didn’t* assume that big tech was the Face of Creeping Evil - tech fucked up bad! by means of actually being evil all the time!

When the partygate stuff came out a couple of months later he did at least admit he was wrong. Sadly he’s now moved onto believing that immigration has always been top of people’s concerns in this country. He lives in Switzerland. I had to show him actual polling data before he’d believe me.

In October 2021 I got into an argument with my brother for daring to suggest that BJ was a narcissist with no interest in the wellbeing of the country. He called me naive.

When I (a Canadian) bought my first UK car it was February and snowy. I asked about winter tires and the guy said yeah, we don’t do that in this country.

This is very encouraging. Mine expires in a couple of weeks and I’m travelling at Christmas. The fact I have to send both in is rather disconcerting.
