Does he take his passport with him when he walks his dog in the morning? If not, is he okay with ICE detaining him for hours, for not being able to prove citizenship? I've seen lots of reports where they did not even give ppl a chance to retrieve their papers to show them.

When they were proposed as the state bird in 1935, one senator suggested that a crow, buzzard, sparrow or pigeon would be better alternatives as they are more often seen.

1) No. (New Jersey).
2) Apparently, it's the Eastern goldfinch. A vibrant yellow, so I think I would have noticed them, but "although they live year-round in NJ, many residents have never seen one. They are usually found perched high in a tree unless attracted to a feeder in someone’s yard."

For most kids, the only paper that could prove their citizenship would be a birth certificate. And parents usually keep those in a safe place so they don't get lost!

During a landing a plane has usually used up much of the fuel. A full tank makes the plane much heavier and takes more time/space to brake when landing.
