Good performance, but the scoreline flatters LFC. Brighton was unlucky and lacked clinically when they were otherwise dangerous.

Ekitike is the obvious MOTM. Jones was also excellent, as was Alisson.

Wirtz and Gravenberch were good early, but diminished as the game dragged on. LFC really need […]

It feels to me like that’s Mo’s last game. The way players were trying to feed him for the fairytale ending?

His vision is still elite, but his speed is gone (Dunk beat him in a dead sprint from that lovely Mac Allister ball into space) and his passing and shooting accuracy have diminished as […]

Chiesa absolutely spoon feeding Salah late.

8 minutes seems excessive #LFC

Kerkez has been decent lately, but he fell asleep on that give and go and Van Dijk gave him a solid rebuke afterwards. 📣 ‼️

As the commentators correctly point out, Konate sliding for a loose touch on a ball 40 yards from goal - while on a yellow card - is madness!

This could be disastrous. Szoboszlai has been the glue holding everything together.

You thought he was tiring, but Ekitike does not tire of scoring. A brace and should have more.

Brighton really should be level. #LFC

Jones and Gravenberch, playing not necessarily as double pivots, but certainly playing as a reserved tandem… that’s working. Both having a good game (Jones has been incredible all season!)

Wirtz looks like he’s really figured out the speed of the league. Ascendant, these last several games […]

Not even a yellow for a raking boot down the torso?!? I take back what I said about Pawson. That’s a ridiculously favorable ruling for Brighton.

I can, at least, see an argument for VAR not recommending a red card, but I cannot fathom how that is just your common foul.

Craig Pawson really is one of the better referees. Despite calling a non-foul a foul by Gravenberch, he’s been otherwise quite good. Consistent and letting them play, with neither side benefiting. Difficult balance.

Salah in for an injured Gomez. Wouldn’t it be a delicious trolling if Slot played him at RB?

Fantastic save from Alisson. Bails out a sleeping weak side defense.

Great start! Ekitike with a nice and tight run and does well on the bounce. Gomez another assist. Per 90 his goal involvement (sans goals! 😂) must be incredible this season.

Had to time-shift the match.

The change to the diamond 4-4-2 provided some needed stability. It is a more conservative setup from Slot, who prefers a more aggressive shape and ultimately wants to allow his attacking midfield to be able to freely rotate and drift into spaces, causing overloads […]

This is the year of the set piece. A big part of Arsenal winning close games is their ability to conjure a moment when other parts of the attack are misfiring. Long throws back in vogue as well.

#LFC are near the bottom of the league on both sides. Can’t defend them and can’t score them […]

Everyone focused on the amount spent on Wirtz & Isak, but the real story was the last minute jilting from Crystal Palace on Guehi while having sold Quansah to afford offensive firepower. Any stability whatsoever on defense would have the team in such a better place. Is that now 3 or 4 games with […]

I don’t know what to say. We are terrible on set pieces. Just terrible.

Here is a place where I think it’s absolutely fair to lambast Slot.

Ten minutes plus stoppage time for Konate to blow the lead.

Gorgeous dummy by Mac Allister and the man who has carried this insipid squad all year finishes beautifully.

My kingdom for competent defending. Asking unseriously if Konate is match fixing.

It’s #LFC so we round up all VAR reviews. It’s not corrections of clear and obvious errors, but rather adjudication from afar.

Ridiculous.
