Man, do I ever feel this as an Old in the web development world. So many overengineered single-page dynamic framework "apps" being built for sites with extremely static content, when late-1990s tech (HTML, CSS, server-side rendering, aggessive caching) would be lightning quick & fit for purpose.

Previously, these belief systems tended to collapse under their own weight. Contradictions and memory gaps made them hard to sustain. Now the AI removes that friction, it produces timelines, summaries, and "forensic" explanations on demand.

Pretty wild to read up on quality control best practices (filled with "processes must be clearly defined and controlled" & "all critical processes are validated to ensure consistency") then try to square that with how weird probabilistic models are supposed to be the $trillion future of everything.
