I usually just end up not talking cause I'd rather say nothing then be looked at like I'm some weird creature

Idk if it's just autism or if I'm just fucking stupid but what social cues am I missing? I genuinely don't get it. 🙃

I prefer it when people just talk to me like we've been friends for years so there's no awkwardness but when I try to do that with others they tend to look at me like I'm insane
