A warm morning for a run over the local hills and past the cairn that I built a few years ago. On the way back I'm always impressed by the dailies that a chap grows. He really must know his stuff.

A few bothies I visited with a pal on a 15 day walk from Erraid to South Queensferry. We were retracing Robert Louis Stevenson's novel Kidnapped. No rain, midges or ticks🙂

Great bike ride yesterday in the sunshine. It's the first time I've used the fingerless cycling mitts this year.

Went running late this afternoon. The dog had to wait up for me. Funny how she knows all the smalls paths up on the moor. Got a close look at t the peat restoration work going on.

March's fell race was Wolf's Pit near Bamford, Derbyshire. A great route up and over the moor in perfect conditions. Came 92/220 taking an hour. I was 6th Male V60.🙂🏃

Perfect conditions in the Peak for the Wolf's Pit Fell Race. Got round the 5.75ml/1402ft in an hour.🏃🏻😊

Took advantage in a break in the weather to take the ferry and bike to visit Taigh Seamus à Ghline. Still, I did catch it and got soaked before I made it to the bothy. All good at the bothy, no rubbish to dispose off, happy days.🙂 Fitted a new heat alarm.

Climbed Thorpe Cloud above Dovedale in the Peak District today. Grand little hill. This was my last "Ethel" a list of 95 hills named after Ethel Haythornthwaite who pioneered the establishment of the Peak District as Britain's first national park in 1951.

Uags is a fine bothy on the south end of the Applecross peninsula. I have visited but these photos were taken on a month long sailing trip around the Hebrides.
