Thinking that a science / public health translation non-profit organisation would be a good idea 🤔

100%. Public health could begin with its own role vis-a-vis misinformation. Huge lack of attention to and investment in science translation, the 'art' piece of public health. Complex but vital work in this increasingly fraught political and info enviro & individualist culture.

There are def much deeper probs but also a desire to communicate in a certain way that I think is problematic

Completely agree. Also: it’s much easier to monetise action by individuals- so it’s in the political & commercial interest to push the narrative away from infrastructural and other structural problems
