Grateful to FDR’s policies and Mom for keeping me and my siblings together.

I came of age during ‘the Peace Generation’ when I had teachers being pulled out of the classroom and sent to Vietnam. I’ve seen “Hiroshima and Nagasaki” and “Night & Fog” and still…

Russia has reneged on The Budapest Agreement that got Ukraine to give up their nukes.

Give them back their nukes.

Here’s hoping that people will see that government can work when you elect people who want it to work, instead of having elected officials who want to “starve it until it’s small enough to drown in a bathtub”, as The Heritage Foundation and its radical Conservative followers have vowed.

Today, there is a Member of Congress who delivered the 218th vote to expose Trump. Until now, the House of Representatives has been as useful as a referee at a WWF ‘professional’ wrestling match.

People don’t miss the pain that you keep them from experiencing.

Guerilla Warfare says: “He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day”. Feed people - or put them back to work so they can feed themselves - then direct their energy toward fighting for healthcare.

Did Americans learn who it was that was willing to let them starve? As much as Trump lies about whose fault the shutdown was, has he finally been exposed as the liar that the rest of us have known that he is?

One mid-morning while traveling with my boss, I said “an army lives on its stomach” (we need to eat soon), to which he answered, “but it dies on its feet”. The Salvation Army knows that you can’t preach to an empty stomach.

It could be argued that the most pragmatic Senators voted to end the shutdown. Or maybe they saw chaos coming from a population that did not sign on to starvation for themselves and their children as a hunger-strike tactic.

suggested that it would be “a mess” to return the money to companies that paid it. And I’m sure no one is more worried about that than The Skimmer in Chief himself…
