My favourite film of the lot was ‘All That’s Left of You’, a heartbreaking story following the life of a Palestinian man from the start of the Nakba when he was a child, to 2022. I cried a lot and the packed women’s bathroom afterwards was full of emotions. Really powerful and important film.

Most of the narrative features shown should be strong contenders for best international at the Oscars. Lots to like. Felt like I travelled the world over one weekend.

Also had Opalite stuck in my head with only 1 listen, cheesy as hell chorus though
Overall: too early to say where it lands in my overall Taylor rankings, everyone judging this highly anticipated album immediately puts so much pressure on the actual music and I look forward to some deeper analysis!

I thought Actually Romantic was funny while listening but then found out who it was about and it made me sad, hate when people I like are beefing with each other
Wood is very Sabrina Carpenter but it’s funny
The Fate of Ophelia was underwhelming but I’ve had it stuck in my head with only 1 listen
